Homecare Worker / Home Health Aide / Caregiver

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personal Care Assistance:

    • Help clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

    • Assist with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or assisting with walking.

  2. Household Tasks:

    • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.

    • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.

  3. Health Monitoring:

    • Monitor and report changes in the client’s health or behavior to family members or medical professionals.

    • Assist with medication reminders or administration under supervision.

  4. Companionship:

    • Provide emotional support and companionship through conversation, activities, or accompanying clients on errands or appointments.

  5. Transportation:

    • Drive or assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, or social events.

  6. Administrative Support:

    • Maintain records of services provided and report progress or concerns.

    • Coordinate with family members, healthcare providers, or case managers.

Employment Application

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent .

  • Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) may be required in some regions.

  • CPR and first-aid certification (preferred).

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if job involves driving).

  • Physical ability to lift and support clients as needed.
